Debra is the kind of neighbor who always has a smile and a wave for those around her, even while facing incredibly difficult circumstances of her own.

Over the years, Debra has experienced several major health challenges that have resulted in significant medical expenses. More recently, she suffered the heartbreaking loss of her sister to cancer. With finances already stretched thin, Debra was only able to provide a basic funeral for her sister while continuing to manage her own mounting expenses.

Through it all, Debra has remained friendly, kind, and positive. Those who know her see someone who continues to smile and bring warmth to her neighborhood despite everything life has placed in her path.

Now, her home needs help too. Debra’s roof is in need of major repairs, but after the medical expenses and financial hardships she has endured, taking on the cost of a roof is an overwhelming burden.

A new roof would provide Debra with a safe, secure home and one less thing to worry about during an already challenging chapter of her life.

Meghan has been my best friend for over 10 years. She has shown up for me and my kids in ways I could never repay. She is the most selfless and kind human beings. That being said, her family has always struggled with maintaining the various household tasks because of the financial burden. She has had the tenacity to learn loads of new skills in taking care of her home but I know a roof is not something she can tackle. Part of their roof is collapsing and critters are getting into the attic making things worse. I cannot begin to describe how much this would help her. Her husband was injured at work years ago and is disabled now so the loss of his stable income continues to affect them. She has hustled for years to make ends meet for her three beautiful children. She has sacrificed so much.

My heart is swelling as I type this out of pure joy and love that this woman chose me to be her forever best friend. If I could afford to buy them a whole new house, I would do it in a heartbeat.

She’s a first-time homeowner, working hard to make an older house truly her own. Although I haven’t known her for very long, it’s clear that she consistently puts others before herself and would do anything to help someone in need. She has such a winsome personality, and in a short time, she has become one of the most important people in my life. I would love to see her receive some support and experience the same kindness she so freely gives to others. Because she’s super cool and a first time home owner which is super awesome and cool at 30 and her coworker makes the best pico of all time. And did I mention she’s a first time home owner at the youthful age of 30.

She has always been someone who gives as much as she can to others without ever asking for anything in return. Now, she is the one who needs a helping hand.

After experiencing water damage in her kitchen, she worked through the insurance process to address the issue. She has since discovered a roof leak that has allowed water to enter her home and caused mold to develop. Unfortunately, she is unable to file another claim because she risks having her policy canceled.

With the cost of a new roof beyond what she can afford, she is facing an overwhelming situation. A new roof would help stop the ongoing damage, protect her home, and provide much-needed peace of mind.

After spending so much of her life giving to others, this would be a meaningful opportunity to give back to someone who truly deserves it.
