Kevin B. - Covers 4 Others

Kevin B.

Arkansas City, KS

Kevin B. is a man of his word and of big dreams. Since the day he married his wife, he promised her one special gift: an art gallery of her own. After years of hard work and determination, that dream finally came true. Just this past year, they purchased a beautiful old church, transforming it into a shared space where creativity and history meet. One half is now his wife’s personal art gallery, a place to proudly display her artwork. The other half is Kevin’s man cave, filled with meaningful historic memorabilia he’s collected over the years.

But shortly after achieving this long-held dream, their joy was disrupted. A severe hailstorm struck their part of town, causing damage to the roof of the old church. With only liability insurance, the cost of repairs has become a challenge, especially with several sections already leaking and needing immediate attention.

Kevin and his wife have poured their hearts into creating a space that reflects both of their passions — art, history, and love. Helping them protect and preserve this space would not only honor their dedication to one another, but also ensure that this meaningful building continues to serve as a symbol of creativity and care for years to come.

Karen T Covers 4 Others

Karen T.

St Charles, MO

Karen T. was nominated by her daughter, who hopes to see her mother finally get the help she deserves.

Karen is a mother of two and a loving, quiet presence in her community. She’s an older woman living on a fixed income and cannot afford to replace her deteriorating roof.

It's clear is that Karen needs support. A new roof would lift a huge burden and give her the peace of mind that her home is safe and protected.

Andrea A Covers 4 Others

Andrea A.

Girard, OH

Andrea is a proud U.S. veteran and a single mother doing everything she can to create a stable home for her children. After years of moving from place to place during military service, this house is the first space her children have ever been able to truly call home.

But now, that stability is at risk. The roof is over 25 years old and visibly failing, especially over the garage, where it’s beginning to sag. The cost of a new roof is simply out of reach while living paycheck to paycheck, and Andrea has been searching for solutions while trying to remain hopeful.

Although it’s difficult for her to ask for help, Andrea knows her children deserve a safe, reliable place to grow. She applied to Covers 4 Others not just for repairs, but for peace of mind, security, and the ability to continue giving her children a home they can feel proud of.

Her service, strength, and commitment to her family make her story one of perseverance and heart and we are honored to share it.

Vickie Foster Covers 4 Others

Vicky F.

Bentonville, AR

Vicky F. purchased her home in 2013, determined to create a safe and stable environment for her family. As a single mother, she’s done everything she can to care for her home and children, but life hasn’t been easy. Over the years, severe wind damage has taken a toll on her roof, and working with insurance has brought more frustration than relief.

Vicky also faces medical challenges that make the financial burden of home repairs even heavier. Despite it all, she remains strong, grounded in her love for her family and her home. Her son, recognizing everything she’s done and continues to do, nominated her for the Covers 4 Others program.

This roof isn’t just about shingles and repairs—it’s about restoring peace of mind for a mother who’s given her all.

Bernadette Huntley Covers 4 Others

Bernadette H.

Binghamton, NY

Bernadette has spent her life caring for others. For 16 years, she served as a Direct Care Counselor at Cerebral Palsy of New York State (now Partners Unlimited LLC), supporting adults with physical and mental challenges. Her work included G-tube feedings, insulin administration, and medication management—always delivered with compassion and dedication.  She was more than a caregiver—she was a steady, loving presence to those who needed it most.

Now retired, Bernadette recently purchased a home where she hoped to enjoy her golden years in peace. But soon after moving in, she learned that the roof—though still intact—is too old to qualify for insurance. Replacing it is more than she can afford, and the stress is overwhelming.A new roof would do more than restore her home. It would restore her sense of security, ease her burden, and allow her to enjoy retirement as she deserves—without fear, without worry.

By covering Bernadette, we’re not just fixing a roof—we’re helping someone who spent her life lifting others finally feel supported herself.

Danelle Louder Covers 4 others

Danelle L.

Apex, NC

Danelle is a single working mom of three, bravely launching her own mental health practice while managing the challenges of parenthood. After her divorce, she kept the family home to ensure her children could stay in their familiar school district—close to friends and sports teams that mean so much to them.

Financially, it’s been a struggle to maintain the home, let alone afford major repairs. While her 14-year-old son can help with smaller fixes like the garbage disposal or hot water heater, replacing the roof feels like too big a project.
With one child heading to college next year, another entering high school, and the youngest finishing middle school, Danelle is preparing for an emotional and demanding season of parenthood. The stress of an aging roof only adds to the pressure.

A new roof would bring tremendous relief, allowing her to focus on growing her practice and supporting her family without the constant worry of home repairs. It would provide security, stability, and peace of mind as she builds a future for her children.

Winning this replacement would mean less fear and more freedom to focus on what matters most—both her family and her career.

Charles and Diann K. - Covers 4 Others

Charles and Diann K.

Arvada, CO

Charles and Diann have been happily married for 58 years, building a life centered on love, family, and faith. Together they’ve raised two children, and their legacy now includes five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren who mean the world to them.

Charles is a proud Vietnam veteran who served our country for three years and is now 100% disabled through the Army. Despite his own challenges, he’s always been the first to offer help—especially to family and friends.

Diann has faced her own health battles, including a mini-stroke and heart attack just last year. She continues to recover with strength and grace, remaining a constant source of love and support for her family.

Their roof, now over 20 years old, is in serious need of replacement. But with health concerns and physical limitations, taking on a project of this size is simply beyond their reach.

A new roof would provide much-needed peace of mind for Charles and Diann—offering safety, stability, and comfort in a time when they need it most.
